Tyrone faces a setback as they prepare for their Division One match against Derry at Celtic Park this Sunday. The team’s midfielder, Conn Kilpatrick, lost his appeal for the red card he received against Roscommon last weekend after a challenge on David Murray.

In their last game, which was a narrow three-point victory over Roscommon at O’Neills Healy Park, Kilpatrick was handed a straight red card. The decision was made by referee Martin McNally from Monaghan during the second half of the game.

Kilpatrick’s red red card was upheld by the CHC last night, after it was deemed harsh by the masses.

A major blow for Tyrone, as Kilpatrick was the likely matchup this weekend for Derry’s Conor Glass.
