On Wednesday last, three days after kicking 0-8 for Tyrone against the Rossies, Darragh Canavan kicked 0-3 for Ulster University Jordanstown against TU Dublin.
All three of Canavan’s scores were set up by Derry forward Niall Loughlin, who could play a big part this year in helping Derry to an All-Ireland title.

The game played out with UUJ winning by 3 points which saw TU Dublin make a late fightback however their endeavors were too little too late.
Darragh’s brother Ruari Canavan also kicked 0-4 for the Belfast college.
Niall Loughlin kicked 0-3 on top of his assists and won the man of the match award on the night.
