Sigerson Cup Semi Final Action This Week.
On Thursday the 8th of February 2024 UCD (Dublin) will take on UL (Limerick) at 6.30pm at SETU Carlow. The game will be live on TG4 Youtube, and people can also attend by purchasing tickets on universe.com
Thursday the 8th of February 2024 UUJ (Belfast) will take on Maynooth University (Meath) at 8pm at Inniskeen Grattans, Monaghan. The game will also be live on TG4 Youtube, and people can attend by purchasing tickets on universe.com.

UL have a difficult task against UCD who have a star studded team and are aiming to win their 35th Sigerson Cup. UL are yet to win a Sigerson Cup but have been knocking on the door the past few years and will fancy their chances to go all the way this year.
UUJ will be aiming to win their sixth Sigerson Cup, their last win coming in 2008. With a full forward line of the two Canavan’s and Niall Loughlin (Derry forward), it seems like this year is the year for them to end their barren run. However, Maynooth are their opposition in the Semi-final and certainly believe they have enough to get back to a Sigerson Cup final. Maynooth have only ever won one in their history.
