Should This Disallowed Goal From Daire Cregg Have Stood Against Dublin.

In the first half of the third round of the national league Roscommon met Dublin in Croke Park.

Daire Cregg ran down the line and went for a fisted point, the ball seemed to be blocked and went into the goal.

Video footage from Sport TG4.

Cregg argued that because the ball got a touch from the Dublin defender that the goal should have stood.

The umpires or referee didn’t see a touch from the Dublin player and ruled the goal out.

Was the Roscommon forward hard done by?
