Mark McHugh Gets New Coaching Role Since Roscommon Departure

Mark McHugh will join the Moycullen coaching panel for the 2024 season. This Will be McHugh’s first role since departing Davy Burke’s backroom team with Roscommon due to travel restrictions.

Maurice Brosnan of the Irish Examiner writes that McHugh travels to Galway on a weekly basis due to work commitments and having attended one of the Galway Universitie’s formerly.

McHugh is also expected to continue playing for his local club Kilcar in Donegal.

It is understood Moycullen manager Don Connellan will step down from his role after bringing two senior county titles to the club along with a Connacht title.
