Irish kickers caught the eye in front of watching NFL scouts as they competed in the combine last night in Indianapolis.
The lads nailed kicks from a variety of distance including and up to 55 yards. A huge feat for 3 men who are very new to American Football. The lads made all the early kicks with all three going 5/5 early on.
While they all missed an attempt at 60 yards – this is a distance the majority of seasoned pros also miss at. The US coaches are said to be very impressed with all three kickers🏈
Earlier in the day, the players held interviews with all 32 clubs and now must wait to see if any have been impressed enough to offer them a spot on their practice squads.
Those offers, if they happen, could come as early as today or at any stage after the new season starts this September.
