Dublin Ladies Edge Galway Ladies By 1 Point.

Dublin ladies defeated the Galway ladies by 0-16 to 1-12, in the fourth round of the Lidl National league.

The win moves Dublin to fourth in the league to on 6 points with 2 wins out of a possible 4. The three teams ahead of them being Armagh, Kerry and Meath.

Galway looked the likely winners when Olivia Divilly slotted over after 61 minutes to put Galway up by two points. However two points in a row from the two midfielders, Nolan and Dunne leveled the game.

In the dying embers of the game, Leah Caffrey drove at the heart of the Galway defence drawing a free, which Hannah Tyrell cooly slotted over to secure the win for Dublin.

Galway now look to be in real trouble with 0 wins out of 4 and remain bottom of division 1. Galway will need three wins from their last 3 to ensure their survival.

Hannah Tyrell finished with 0-5 for the dubs with both midfielders finishing with 0-2 (Orlagh Nolan and Jennifer Dunne).

Linda Booth got the goal for Galway before being replaced from Kilkerrin Clonberne star Olivia Divilly who chipped in with a point.

Róisín Leonard impressed for Galway with 0-5.
