Dublin overpower Roscommon in Croke Park

In a poignant tribute to the late Shane O’Hanlon, Dublin showcased their finest performance of the season, securing their first victory in the Allianz League campaign.

The match began with a heartfelt acknowledgment of O’Hanlon’s passing, as both players and supporters honored his memory.

Led by Con O’Callaghan, who assumed the captaincy in James McCarthy’s absence, Dublin delivered a stellar performance, with O’Callaghan scoring seven crucial points, five of which were from play.

Despite Roscommon staying competitive in the first half, Dublin surged ahead in the second, sealing the win with a goal from Niall Scully. Notable performances also came from Sean Bugler and Brian Fenton.

The match witnessed several changes in both teams’ lineups, with standout matchups including O’Callaghan against Roscommon’s full-back Brian Stack and Daire Cregg’s battle against Dublin’s defence.
