Davy Fitzgerald and Micheál Donoghue installed as joint favourites to succeed Henry Shefflin.

The announcement that Shefflin has left Galway came just 24 hours after Fitzgerald had quit as Waterford manager.

The timing has fuelled rumours that Fitzgerald will make the dramatic switch, 3 years after being overlooked for the last Galway job.Kenneth Burke is the third favourite after leading St Thomas’ to All-Ireland club glory in January.
