Cora Staunton takes up role as coach with Ballina Stephenites

Cora Staunton will take up the role of coach with Ballina Stepenites Senior men’s team – the County Champions from last year.

It was Ballina’s first Mayo title in almost 20 years where they beat Breaffy – before going on to lose to Corofin in Connacht.

But the departure of Eanna Casey as coach has prompted Ballina to look to the ladies game’s greatest player to assist them in defending their crown.

Can she help guide the club to back-to-back titles? We will find out later this year.
