Con O’Callaghan hat-trick sees Dublin thump Kerry in Croke park

Dublin 3-18 Kerry 1-14

Con O’Callaghan’s hat-trick propelled Dublin to victory over Kerry at Croke Park. O’Callaghan dominated the game with a final tally of 3-5.

Despite Kerry’s efforts, they struggled to keep up, trailing by nine points at halftime. Although Kerry managed to close the gap in the second half, O’Callaghan’s decisive goal in the 64th minute dashed any hopes of a comeback.

Dublin’s performance was marked by O’Callaghan’s stellar play, while Kerry, despite glimpses of promise, failed to match their opponent’s intensity.

David Clifford’s efforts for Kerry were overshadowed by missed opportunities, including three wides and a blocked shot. Dublin’s early lead and consistent pressure proved too much for Kerry to overcome, sealing a convincing victory for the defending champions.
